Candu Energy Inc. Still in Competition for Turkey's Second Nuclear Power Plant

Mississauga, ON – 2013 March 06 - Contrary to recent media reports, Candu Energy Inc. has not pulled out of a bid for the construction of the first nuclear project at Sinop on the Black Sea.

Candu Energy has submitted a feasibility report for the construction of four EC6 units at Sinop. We expect our Enhanced CANDU 6 option, with its medium size, localized fuel fabrication, proven and licensable design, and excellent project delivery record to be an excellent option for nuclear power in Turkey.
